Kathmandu, June 19: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has expressed belief that the budget for the fiscal year, 2082/83 will help bolster national economy. The Finance Minister said it while responding to the queries raised during the general discussion on annual estimates of revenue and spending during the meeting of the National Assembly. Budget not only dreams but dreams to realize the ambition, he argued. He further asserted that the budget would set an example in terms of implementation. "Budget is brought in a way it will be actionable for its size, estimates and project proposals. I've made resolution for effective budget" Paudel said, adding that government has aimed at achieving 6 percent economic growth and contain inflation at 5.5 percent by the end of the coming fiscal year. According to the Finance Minister, the budget would establish a firm foundation for strengthening national economy. The past projects would also be realized through the budget, he reminded. ---
